Dentist – Englewood, Colorado
Dr. Thomas Reed
Why did you decide to become a dentist?
Dr. Reed started his college career chasing a different path with his first degree in economics and finance. He back-doored into dentistry as a career after a good friend in the field (an endodontist) encouraged him to try it out. He quickly fell in love with the job and the trade – the autonomy of working for himself, the flexibility of the hours, and getting to work with his hands. He’s always been a handy guy who enjoys fixing things, so it clicked very easily. Today, he’s been a part of this practice for almost two decades and counting!
Where did you study dentistry?
Dr. Reed graduated from Northwestern University in 1995 before participating in a general practice residency at Ohio State University. He and his family relocated to Denver in 1998 and he has been a part of City Center Dental Group since 2000.
What are your hobbies outside of dentistry?
When he isn’t busy treating patients and managing the practice, Dr. Reed and his wife have three children who keep them extremely busy. His hobbies include doing all sorts of activities outdoors, including biking, skiing, and hiking.
