Pirate’s Cove Basics
The park features three different levels.
• Bottom level-The ground level boasts a competitive pool complete with diving boards and a tubular slide. The pool itself gradually declines to a depth of 12-feet. There is also a designated area for anyone who prefers swimming laps.
There is a concession stand that sells beverages, fast foods, and snacks. Hot dogs, pizza and candy are some of the items available here. After eating these delicious snacks, head on down to City Center Dental Group for a cleaning. A separate snow cone station offers refreshing cold treats that include Dipping’ Dots. But, Pirate’s Cove allows guests to bring their own foods and drinks. But, they do not allow glass items. The park also features an ATM and soda machine. The facility has secured lockers to store your valuables for the day. There are also gender-specific restrooms.
• The middle level-The region is known as “The Lagoon. Around the leisure or kiddie pool, guests find a number of umbrella-covered tables with benches and lounge chairs. The pool is safe for younger children. Little ones are able to walk directly into the water, which is at zero depth. The pool also boasts a pirate ship that encourages children to climb and let their imagination flow. A huge 750-gallon bucket slowly fills with water. Eventually, the bucket tilts and dumps all of the water on anyone standing in the vicinity.
The spray garden is ideal for cooling down or playing under the cascades of water. The sandy beach zone is perfect for building sand castles or sand sculptures.
• The upper level-The top region features “The River” and a variety of water slides. Visitors of all ages love to glide along on an inner tube as the water gently flows downstream. The river also has no time limit. Thus, guests may lounge around for as long as they like. From the river, riders have the chance to enter a swirling vortex for more of a thrill. Upon exiting the river, simply send the tube back to the river’s entrance.
A 35-foot tall water tower has three slides that vary in length and distance. So, the speed at which riders glide down the slope also varies. However, sliders must be at least four feet tall.
